Solution 15 – Hoechst 33342 is a staining reagent containing Hoechst 33342, which stains the nuclei of living, fixed and permeabilized cells. Solution 15 – Hoechst 33342 is a cell permeable dye that preferably stains doublestranded DNA.Hoechst 33342 can be used to identify cells and to quantify the DNA content of e.g. animal cells to analyze G0/G1, S and G2/M cell cycle phases within a cell population.
